In March of 2012 we went to Panorama Ski Resort in British Columbia, Canada for three days of heliskiing with RK Heliski (www.rkheliski.com). Although we have been backcountry skiing in the past, this was our first time heliskiing. It was at the invitation and encouragement from a couple of friends who were veterans of at least a couple of outings with this heliskiing operation or another. The first couple of days out was cloudy and it snowed much of the day. The sky cleared a bit on the last of our three days and we were presented with some wonderful views of the Purcell Mountains. Below is a 6-minute compilation of snippets assembled from video I shot over the course of three days with my helmet cam (GoPro Hero).
Suzanne has been skiing since the 70's and she brought Tony on his first ski trip (to Wisp) in 1996. Fortunately, skiing is something that we both love doing, and while our health holds up we're trying to go at least a couple of ski trips a season.
